Chicken love :)

We have some very confused flowers! It's almost winter and we have blooming daffodils
Remember the chicks we hatched? Well this is Donna, Kiki's chicken. Turns out that Donna is a boy but he is the sweetest chicken :) He is very patient and seems happy with the kids picking him up. Kiki even takes him for walks.
Grating some cucumber on the top of the run
and finding eggs

Offcumden, I know! She/he is a giant Orpington I think. We just got a random batch of fertile eggs to hatch out so the breeds were a surprise :)

Thanks Dorina and Pip :)
Donna is their favourite because She/he is so very patient and will even fall asleep on their shoulders :) She/he is at the bottom of the pecking order it seems and the poor thing tries to hide behind the other chickens if scared, like we can't see her/him :)
