Kittens, more pets, and baking

Kiki loves the kittens a lot more than they love her :/ So far they are being reasonably patient with her allowing her to carry them around like a baby.
Playing dominoes
and table tennis. And yes, I do know that it is not the right time of year for summer dresses but she does insist :)
Kitty snuggles
Gibbles loves to lie like this and have his tummy tickled :)
And we got new pets! Say hello to our ducks
The kids named them Rachel, Anya, Lily, and Yorkshire Pudding :)

The weather is getting cold so we have started baking to warm up tummies after time outside
We made syrupy sponge
And Kiki made meringues

eaten in front of the fire hmmm

What is it with little girls and kittens? We are having similar here and whilst Nin is gentle, I have had to step in a couple of times to rescue Jax (who is currently haring around the living room with his mother).

Ducks - how exciting! It seems you're turning into a veritable small holding :0)

ooohhhh. it all looks so cozy. and it's really wonderful that your children get to run outside so much. i do miss that for my girls. they did run around a lot more when they were younger and we were in booklyn. they also received kittens around kiki's age! actually, morgana was much younger and i always had to keep checking and reminding her to be gentle. (sigh). they dragged those kittens everywhere and dressed them up in the craziest outfits. i had a washer and dryer in the apartment then, and i was constantly yelling "oh no!" then i would run to the machine, open it up, and check to make sure a kitten wasn't in it. i was so paranoid i would wash or dry a kitten. they really could get into the darnedest places! the kittens are all grown up now. i'm glad it takes little girls a little longer!

and your ducks are such dears! are you collecting and eating the eggs?

enjoy this wonderful holiday time :)
