farm visit and friends

Two trips in one day! First to feed the animals at a local farm with some of the children's friends. It was so cold but great to get out of the house and run around especially with all the excitement of the Christmas buildup.

Next onto Cannon Hall. We decided not to go to the farm and just play in the beautiful grounds.

First the children did a nature scavenger hunt. They then climbed the trees imagining that they were on boats, beds or in castles.

After that one of the mothers asked the children to make nature pictures.

Boo made a bird.

Then off to the cafe to warm up and do some Christmas worksheets :o) very school like.
