I really didn't know what to do for Googs' birthday this year. He didn't want a party and when I asked him what he did want, he said that he wanted to play games and have a monster truck cake. Feeling guilty that I wasn't doing enough to celebrate his special day, I planned to go to a young children's theme park for the day. However, when we got up in the morning Boo was not well so the trip had to be cancelled. Funnily enough though, I think that Googs got the birthday he wanted after all :o)
He was so chuffed with his monster truck cake.
We made wonky chocolate croissants for breakfast
And was given a few "really cool" monster trucks. As well as other thoughtful gifts - Thank you!
even one that he could build himself!
And Gran and Grandad bought him his own portable goals.
picnic lunch
Football outside
making his wish
5 years old!!!!!
