B turns 11

B is 11!
He said to me the other day "Mom, I can't wait to grow up but at the same time I don't want to grow up" That's how I feel too, I am so proud of the wonderful person he's turning out to be and can't wait to see what kind of man he'll grow up to be but at the same time I don't want him to grow up!
Here he is admiring the card that Kiki made for him.

He was so excited to get this gift, a chemistry set. lol the others don't look too impressed but that was because B just pointed out that they are all too young for it :P
The pestle and mortar that he has wanted for ages :) thanks A.O x
And the bow and arrow set that he's been after since his brother got one :)
Now they don't have to wait for their turn
Later in the day some of B's friends arrived for a sleepover.
Hubby got out the paintball gun and set up some targets.
Between turns, the boys went to inspect the damage and collect any undamaged paintballs.

Even the younger two had a turn. K stayed inside playing with the kittens with a couple of the boy's sisters.
Next was archery

Then inside for homemade pizza.
After pizza they all went to play games in the dark. They got cold and wet so there was hot chocolate waiting for them when they came back in.
The kids then decorated B's birthday cake
and we lit the sparklers and sang happy birthday.

Making a wish.
Here's to another great year, my wonderful son xxx

Happy Birthday young man... and what a wonderful young man you are growing in to. I have a slightly younger man who would be very envious of your wonderful gifts!!

Looks like you had a wonderful day!!
