Roman Sandals

This post was from a little while back (maybe a year even!), when we were learning about the Romans. I think that the reason I didn't post it is because I didn't take pictures of the finished sandals :( But since I am on a catching up mission I thought that I would post this regardless.

So anyway, we drew around each foot including a gap between the big toe for the wrapping string


cut them out
and started gluing on the string. this got messy :)






They looked great when they are finished. All they needed to complete them was string going up through the big toe around the feet and legs :)
