I first crocheted the outside and then sewed the lining.
Googs made himself a bed to keep me company while I sewed.
It was the first time that I had ever sewn a zip so I was really chuffed :)
Here are the finished bags. I think that the flowing ribbons might be a little too flouncy for me, I might crochet a flower or something to go on the front.

oh these are lovely!! I had a crocheted bag and loved it. sadly when I washed it, the inner lining shrunk and it looked odd after that :-(
Where do you find the time to make such lovely things!!!
