This is the reason that I've been so bad at keeping up with the blog this year. I've been working on a new venture which launched today!! eek!
If you want to have a look you can find it at www.thepartyartisan.co.uk
You can also find me on facebook.
It's all so daunting but exciting!
Anyway, I hope to be back here more often now that we have launched but if not, you know where to find me. Please come and say hello :)

Childhood flashes by and before you know it they're all grown up. This blog exists to capture a little of our lives while the children are still so young...a little treasure box of memories.

Bag kites
It was a very windy day. It's not like we're not used to strong winds where we live, but this windy day I really felt like we needed to be outside flying kites. However, we didn't have any kites...well, we did but the string was tangled and I wasn't going to waste hours attempting to untangle it. So instead we tied string/wool to plastic bags.
Obviously they're not designed to get a great lift
ummm yes, this is a doggie bag :)
All the kids flying their bag kites
They came up with a plan to get more lift in the their kites :)
It was a fun afternoon activity that got them outside despite the strong winds.

Camping last day
On the last day the camp site was quiet again so instead of packing up early we decided to hang around and soak up some more sun, sea, and sand.
The beach was deserted again :)
A happy sea dance :)
Milo was getting used to the sea by the end of our camping trip
Some last boogie board action
Just us!
By the end of the camping trip Milo was exhausted!
So was Googs :)
Fast asleep!
I took this photo as we were driving home. North Wales is stunning!

Boogie boards
On the 4th day we bought the kids a boogie board. The water was a bit chilly so we only got one so that they could dry out and warm up in between goes.
The kids were very calm and relaxed. Googs just sat and watched the sea.
K, the child that struggles with cold the most, was the one who spent the most time on the boogie board!
I just loved this shot, the boys were standing on a stone :)
Riding a stone horse :)
While their big sister rides the teeny waves :)
The whole time camping no one caught any fish at all. They did scoop this dead sand shark out of the water though.
We had two full pans of mussels that evening
And more sand dune fun. Daddy buried everyone :)

A sandy day!
We went to fish in the morning
With nets
and with rods
I love this photo of my boys fishing together :)
The girls drew in the sand
And made a sand horse
life sized!
We got back to the tent where K relaxed under the trees with Milo
And then the kids went to play on the sand dunes
The back to the sea! You can JUST about see how many tiny starfish are in this little pool on the beach
Posing for grandmother photos :)
And then back to the sand dunes! They slept well the entire camping trip :) you can see why!
